Card payments
for salons.
Multiple chairs, multiple stylists, retail product on the shelf and a booking diary that’s the actual business. Salons need to know who took what, not just what the shop took.

Three things salons keep telling us.
See it by staff member
Every payment is tagged to the user who took it, so commission and column performance come out of the payment data rather than a paper diary.
Product sales and services together
The shampoo on the way out and the colour that took three hours land in the same reporting, at the same rate.
Up to ten users on Pro
Every stylist gets their own login without paying per seat, and you keep one view across the floor.

What salons ask
Can multiple staff take payments on one salon account?
Yes. The Cheekypayments Pro plan includes up to ten users and locations at no extra cost per seat, and every payment records which user took it. That means stylist commission and column performance can be read straight from the payment reporting rather than reconciled by hand.
How much does it cost a salon to take card payments?
Every Cheekypayments plan charges Stripe's published rate of 1.4% + 10p per in-person payment on UK and EEA cards. For a typical salon taking £22,000 a month across roughly 355 sales at an average of £62, that is about £349.20 in card fees. On the Pro plan (£19 a month) the total is about £368.20 — an effective rate of 1.67%.
Can salons take card payments without a card machine?
Yes. Tap to Pay on iPhone and Android turns a phone you already own into a contactless card reader, accepting Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay with no extra hardware. It is included on every Cheekypayments plan, including the free one. A card reader is available for £29 as a one-off purchase if you would rather have a separate machine, or a traditional countertop machine on your own Verofy account.
How quickly does a salon get the money?
Payouts run daily once your account is verified. How quickly a given sale lands depends on your account's schedule. It is the same on every plan. Money taken on a card is settled to your own bank account rather than held in a separate balance you have to withdraw from.
